Welcome to The Association of Orthodox Jewish Psychologists (AOJP)
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the AOJP website, available at AOJP.org (the "Site"), and all related services provided by The Association of Orthodox Jewish Psychologists ("AOJP," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Membership Accounts
1.1 Account Creation: To access certain features of the Site, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
1.2 Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
2. Membership Fees
2.1 Payment: Membership fees are due at the time of registration and renewal. Payment is processed through our secure payment gateway. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method. In addition, you represent that you have the legal right to use your payment method.
2.2 Refunds: Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in our refund policy.
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 Trademarks: All trademarks, service marks, logos, and other intellectual property on the Site are owned by AOJP or its licensors. You may not use any of these trademarks without prior written permission from AOJP.
3.2 Content: All content on the Site, including text, graphics, images, and software, is the property of AOJP or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our express written permission.
4. User Conduct
4.1 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, or computer systems connected to the Site.
4.2 Content Submission: By submitting content or materials to the Site, you grant AOJP a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content.
4.3 User Feedback: By providing feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other information (collectively, "Feedback") to AOJP through the Site you grant AOJP a royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such Feedback for any purpose.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
5.1 Disclaimer: The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. AOJP makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the Site or its content.
5.2 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, AOJP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site.
